Catholic Event in Connecticut

August 22^nd – A Summer Evening at Montfort House – This fund-raising event to benefit the Shrine of Lourdes in Litchfield, will be held on the terrace and grounds of Montfort House, 83 Montfort Rd., (top of the hill) Rte. 118, Litchfield, CT 06759 on Saturday, August 22, 2015.

This delightful evening will feature farm-fresh hors d'oeuvres, crudites, cheese, and tastings of garden inspired cocktails and local wines. Some specialties being served include: heirloom tomato gazpacho shooters with fresh avocado, brown butter lobster crostini with watercress and chives, watermelon, feta cheese, mint skewer with aged balsamic drizzle, and prosciutto wrapped peaches with almond butter. Delectable mini desserts will also be served. This event will be held with live music from 6pm until 9pm with food being served throughout the evening. Guests may arrive anytime between 6pm and 8pm.
