Catholic Events in Connecticut

Pray, Study, come to understand the Great Mother of God.

The Caritas Christi Center (295 Benham Street, Hamden, CT) is hosting a study in the theology of Blessed Virgin Mary beginning January 17 (ending on March 14). Two time slots available: 9:30-11:30 AND 7:00-9:00pm.

The annual March for Life in New Haven will take place on Monday, January 23. 

The march will begin with Holy Mass at 12 Noon, St Mary's Church, 5 Hillhouse Avenue, New Haven, followed by the march. 

Following the march there will be a warm-up reception in St Mary's Hall

Please join in giving witness to the beauty and dignity of human life.

Holy Family Retreat Center, West Hartford - An Evening Workshop for Parish Catechists:  Teaching the Liturgical Year, with Liza Peters and Lisa Orchen

Thursday, Jan 19, 6-9 p.m.  If you teach Religious Education, plan and lead youth ministry, or help prepare people for Sacramental Initiation, this evening is for you. Looking to the liturgical calendar and symbols of the Church for guidance, we will explore and exchange ideas that can be used throughout the year. (Snow date, Jan 26) $40, includes dinner.
