Vatican removes Bible from its website...

Another, why am I shocked moment brought to me by the Holy Catholic Church under the current direction of Pope Francis.

What possible reason could the Vatican have for removing Sacred Scriptures...our Holy Bible from the Vatican website?

And what mental midget thought this was a good idea?

Did Pope Francis give his approval? Was it his idea?

Again...why?

What purpose does it serve to remove our Sacred Scriptures from the Vatican website?

I just don't get it.

Vatican link to no where: http://www.vatican.va/archive/bible/index.htm

  2. Thanks to the Da Tech Guy Blog. I commented somewhere recently that I am more worried of what we don't hear from the Vatican than of what we do, of the iceberg we don't see. This appears to be one thing that they are accomplishing by stealth.

    Reasons:

    1) Decentralization. Protestantization of the Catholic Church.

    2) Corruption of Scripture can go unchecked. Cf. USCCB [http://www.usccb.org/bible/approved-translations/index.cfm]. New Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition, National Council of Churches is approved and it uses INCLUSIVE LANGUAGE.

The revolution is in full swing.

Cf. USCCB: God, the author of Sacred Scripture borrowed the plot of Gn 2–11 (creation, the flood, renewed creation) from creation-flood stories in Mesopotamian literature - http://wp.me/p2Na5H-MO

    1. I would go further with 'reasons': 1) Decentralization: Protestantization and say the ultimate goal is to create a 'humanistic' and 'paganistic' 'Church'. Some of the initiatives we see coming out of Rome are PAGAN in nature.

But yes, the 'revolution' is in full swing. Protestantization is only the first step, and they've pretty much already achieved that one. Their 'religion' has NOTHING to do with Jesus Christ.

  6. Here's what it says.

More "decentalization". The "synodal Church" in action...

    "SACRED SCRIPTURE

The Holy Bible is available in almost every language on earth: the Episcopal Conferences take care of the continuous updating of the translations. In order to have access to the latest Bible version, kindly consult the website of your Episcopal Conference."

  7. Don't tell them, but there's a buried link to the Nova Vulgata at: http://www.vatican.va/archive/bible/nova_vulgata/documents/nova-vulgata_index_lt.html

  8. @TLM, you are very correct. That's just an intermediate stage. Ultimately the end goal is the religion of the Antichrist, Luciferianism.

All they are doing is readying the world for the arrival of their socio-political Messiah.

  9. Okay, that was a month ago, but this is pretty funny, if what it is what I expect.

Does anyone know which Bible in English was formerly linked to? I just checked, and currently it's the New American Bible monstrosity.

For years now, the RSV-CE has been the English version used in official Vatican documents, articles, etc... It's the liturgical Scripture of the Anglican Ordinariate and the version quoted in the catechism. My suspicion is the RSV-CE was the version linked before Sacred Scripture disappeared.

  10. This website (below) has the Vulgate/Douay-Rheims/Monsignor Ronald Knox translations of the Bible side-by-side. Very useful thing to access.
