Long Island Medium (Theresa Caputo) works for Satan

She’s charming, she’s whacky, and she’s got funny hair and crazy fingernails- she’s also working for the devil.
Sound harsh?  Good.

Theresa Caputo
Theresa Caputo, AKA “The Long Island Medium” seen weekly on the TLC cable channel, is the devil’s own Pied Piper leading people along the devil’s path.  Does she know it?  Probably not, but she should.
Caputo is a psychic- yes they do exist.  I am not talking about the “Miss Cleo” types who randomly make up anything to make a billion (yes, that’s right) dollars.  I am talking about the psychics who actually do see and hear things.  They exist.  The trouble is not that they see and hear things per se (many Saints had that gift), it’s who is behind what they see and hear and the fact that Caputo does not have the discernment to know its evil.
What do I mean by ‘evil’?  I mean anything that is against God’s Will is evil.  You might be a fan of Caputo’s who watches the shows and say to me: “She helps people by making them feel better!”   I bet a lot of pot smokers out there would tell you the same thing about pot – yet it would remain damaging to your lungs no matter how good it might make a person feel.
Associating with psychics is damaging to a person’s soul.   It jeopardizes a person’s salvation.  How?
First of all, what Caputo is teaching from her television show is heretical to Catholic teaching- to ALL Christian teaching.
Sunday, May 26th, the “Long Island Medium” told her audience that she had lived past lives when she went into a ‘past life regression’ session to find out why she was ‘chosen’ to be a psychic.  Any Christian worth their salt will tell you the bible flat out refutes ‘reincarnation’ completely…
Hebrews 9:27  And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment"

In another episode, Caputo told a woman her dead daughter’s soul was now “reborn” into the body of her newest grandchild.  Poppycock!
Reincarnation comes from Eastern religions like Buddhism- it is a heresy to ALL Christian groups, Catholic and Protestant alike.  A person is ONE soul and ONE body together.  A person dies when the soul separates from the body.  The Resurrection is about the soul reuniting with the body for eternity- in Heaven or Hell, at Judgment Day.
That is the basis of Christian belief in the Resurrection (yes, some Christians believe in ‘soul sleep’ but that is for another discussion).  The “Resurrection of the Body” is not about an animated corpse because the soul has now been placed into yet another body and another and another.  There is ONE soul for ONE body.  That’s it.  Period.
So what about Caputo’s “gift”?  Is she making it all up?  Is it a hoax?  Why is it wrong to hear what a psychic has to say if it makes you feel better?
It’s the devil’s path.  The spirit world exists; there is no doubt about it.  Christians know there is life after death- heaven or hell, are our final destinations, its one or the other for eternity (Matt. 25:46).  We know there are angels and demons.  We know there are people in Purgatory.  Some people can see them – numerous Saints have seen them and wrote about them – they are often called ‘ghosts’.
St. Bernard, in his life of St. Malachy shares this case…
This saint relates that one day he saw his sister, who had been dead for some time.  She was doing her purgatory in a cemetery.  On account of her vanity and the attention she had devoted to her hair and body, she had been sentenced to live in the very grave where she had been buried, and to witness the dissolution of her body.  The saint offered the Sacrifice of the Mass for her for thirty days; at the end of this period he saw his sister again.  This time she had been sentenced to complete her purgatory at the gate of the church, doubtless because of her irreverent demeanor in the holy place; perhaps she had distracted the faithful from the Sacred Mysteries in order to draw eyes and appreciation to herself.  She was exceedingly sad, wearing a mourning veil, and was in extreme anguish.  The saint offered the Sacrifice once more for thirty days, and she appeared to him for the last time in the sanctuary, with unruffled countenance, radiant in a white robe.  The Bishop knew by this sign that his sister had gained her deliverance.”  [Source:  “The End of the Present World”, written by Father Charles Arminjon.  Page 153]
Even Jesus Christ was mistaken for a ghost, not once but twice in scripture.
Matt. 14:26 “When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.”
Luke 24:39 “Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

Here in Luke 24, Jesus clarifies that ghosts do not have bodies, they are spirit only.  He tells them He still has his body.  The body and soul are RESURRECTED together.  This is as it will be for all of us.  ONE body and ONE soul.
What psychics are doing is allowing (encouraging) their “spirit guides” (as Caputo and others call them) to show them things and let them hear things.  These “spirit guides” are demonic.  Guardian Angels from God would NOT direct people to believe in heresy, nor would they direct people to go against the Word of God in Scripture or against Church teaching.  The “angels” who do this are FALLEN angels- demons.  They WANT people to be deceived and to believe in the devils powers, this is how they win souls for hell.
The devil has power – for now.  And he uses it to deceive, trick and lead people away from God and the Truth of Christianity.  This is where Caputo is leading people astray.  She’s been deceived by the devil and her “spirit guide” to go AGAINST the Word of God.  She’s been deceived into believing she’s lived passed lives.

The demons (AKA "spirit guides") are showing her these things and she’s fallen for their deception hook, line and sinker.  She actually thinks what the demons show her, are lives her soul has lived in the past- no such thing!  She’s been deceived and she is spreading that deception to others.  A quick look at her "Long Island Medium" Facebook page shows the horrid ripple effect of her deception spreading worldwide to ignorant people.  People pleading with her to please contact the dead for them.  It's retched.
I don’t doubt that Caputo and others like her actually believe what they are doing is ‘good’ and even helpful to people, but it’s not.  Her "well intentions" aren't really helping anyone, it's harming people.  It is jeopardizing the souls of thousands of people.  It is deceiving people from the Truth, into heresy and perhaps even into occult and demonic practices. How?  This stuff is addicting.  It’s like a drug. People go to one psychic then another, then another.  They begin to want to see what they can do, so they play with Tarot Cards or Spirit boards (Ouija board) and CALL “spirits” to them.  The spirits who answer are demonic.
The devil doesn’t show himself as gruesome with horns, hooves and forked tail – who would listen to or follow that?!  The devil appears as “an angel of light” according to the Bible.  This is how he tricks people.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)

13 “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.”

Now who does that sound like to you?

In the book “An Exorcist Tells His Story”, Father Gabriele Amorth, an exorcist priest in the Catholic Church tells about the power of the devil and exorcism’s he performed to release people from the power of the devil.  On pages 40 and 41, Father Amorth shares a story of a witness who calls himself “Erasmus of Bari” (as published in the magazine “Rinnovamento dello Spirito” in September 1987).  Erasmus of Bari tells how he was given gifts that he at first thought were from God- amazing gifts.

The gift of [page 40 – direct quote] “clairvoyance, mind reading, medical diagnosing, reading of hearts and lives of people both living and dead, and other powers.  A few months later I received another faculty; the ability to take away pain merely by the imposition of hands.  I could eliminate or alleviate any sort of suffering…”

He goes on to say that he knew it was off because it wasn’t from God.  He wasn’t living a changed life for God.  He was “quick to anger, slow in pardoning, easily resentful, and given to take offense at nothing.”  Realizing he wasn’t being gifted by God with abilities, he knew the only other source was the devil himself.  His “gifts” were not divine from God to do ‘good’ but rather diabolical and from Satan!  He'd been deceived!  As soon as he was prayed over and asked God for help the “gifts” disappeared.
Now how many people would think the devil would “do good” by giving gifts to take away people’s suffering?  This is the deception!  This is what the Bible means when it says the devil APPEARS as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14).  It’s a deception and people need to be ALERT all the time.
Caputo probably honestly believes she is doing good (see her Facebook page) and that God gave her this “gift” – she is wrong just as “Erasmus of Bari” was wrong.
Don’t be deceived by psychics who themselves are deceived.  Some psychics are in it for the money (Miss Cleo), some for the fame (Sylvia Browne) and others like Caputo who seem to believe they are helping people, but what they are all doing is spreading deception and doing the devil's work.
Don’t be led down the devils path by anyone.  Trust in God.  Don’t go looking for answers from anywhere else.  God loves you, all of you, even the psychics and He wants you to reject the temptations of the devil and put all our trust in Him.  You don’t need to contact anyone dead.  You’re alive, live that life for God so that one day you will be resurrected, body and soul together for eternity in heaven.

Pray for Theresa Caputo, others like her and all who've fallen for the devil's trap.  Most of these people are GOOD people who have been deceived, don't hate on them, just love them, pray for them and TEACH them the Truth before it's too late.  And please, please, please DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS WATCH THIS STUFF!

God bless.

Julie

Catholic Catechism: #2115 God can reveal the future to his prophets or to other saints. Still, a sound Christian attitude consists in putting oneself confidently into the hands of Providence for whatever concerns the 305 future, and giving up all unhealthy curiosity about it. Improvidence, however, can constitute a lack of responsibility.

Catholic Catechism: #2116 All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to "unveil" the future.[48] Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.

Catholic Catechism: #2117 All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one's service and have a supernatural power over others - even if this were for the sake of restoring their health - are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. These practices are even more to be condemned when accompanied by the intention of harming someone, or when they have recourse to the intervention of demons. Wearing charms is also reprehensible. Spiritism often implies divination or magical practices; the Church for her part warns the faithful against it. Recourse to so-called traditional cures does not justify either the invocation of evil powers or the exploitation of another's credulity.

Catholic Catechism: #1013    Death is the end of man’s earthly pilgrimage, of the time of grace and mercy which God offers him so as to work out his earthly life in keeping with the divine plan, and to decide his ultimate destiny. When “the single course of our earthly life” is completed,586 we shall not return to other earthly lives: “It is appointed for men to die once.”587 There is no “reincarnation” after death.

  1. I love Theresa Caputo! I believe her gift comes from God. Some people say it is against God and the Bible but they should not presume to know everything about His glorious works. Some people don't understand it and never will but that is OK. Keep healing people, Theresa! You are a blessing to this earth.

  2. I think all prophetic teachings have to be tested by God's Word, God's Word is perfect and he doesn't go back on it; please read your Bible. It's quite clear that what she is doing is not glorifying to God. I have watched her show and I would love to believe she is doing work for God but she hardly references him, uses his name in vein and profits from this "gift". I would take a second look at where your faith lies, you are being deceived.

    1. understandable guy... you should read on a couple more comments down the Bible not the word of God the Bible is written by men God doesn't tell anybody anything. God is not a puppeteer it is not our puppet master. I understand that you were trained to be in fear of God you have to understand God is not one to be feared. god is love God does not set up on judgments to our character... God is our soul it knows that if we use its name in "vain" it's the intent of the meaning...not just a silly saying. God Is Love...do not judge--"lest ye be judged"

    3. Umm...no god used men like mosses and peter and paul and many more to spread the gospal for his works so that everyone could know and have salvation. He used these men for his works...and if u cant believe that then i guess you cant believe the medians then.

  3. Jesus was a Rabbi all of his life
on this earth. Never did he create
    Christianity. Blood, Death and
War were the results of this
religion. Priests have continuously been responsible for
    pedophilia. The Pope prior
    to Benedict left office because
    of dark matters. These same
Priests were giving forgiveness for sins in confession which made their flock feel better. Theresa
    Caputo is helping those that
seek her to feel better too.
The Vatican is full of secret doctrines. The Christian Monks
in earlier times practiced Magick. You are labelling Theresa Caputo as diabolical. Citing from the New Testament and what you label as "Saints" does not make your pleaconvincing nor Divine Truth.

    1. well said. it is true that the Vatican has usurped true Christianity from the beginning of time. and it is evidence from this website that they have done a darn good job! I mean the publisher must be really really afraid of himself... he speaks of things he has no clue about... he speaks of things that are pure fallacy in fact. there's no such thing as demons... there's no such thing as Satan.. what people like to call the devil.
that imagery stems from human nature humans are Satan humans create devilish acts and its human that blame their own wrong actions on something other than themselves how convenient.

  4. To Amy;
God does NOT tell anyone to believe in "reincarnation" and that is exactly what Caputo believes. Her "spirit guides" told her this... they are DEMONS. God does NOT lie to people, nor do God's Angels.
Caputo is a nice woman who is deceived and leading others along the devil's path.
Trust God, not lying "spirit guides".

    1. God in fact sir does not tell anybody anything! come on seriously get with it guy. again I will reiterate that the Bible was written by men to usurp individual power godly given to each soul. history reads like a Bible... there's nothing hidden in history. the ultimate authority in the ancient times was the church...oh yeah give me ultimate power said they... but in order to ensure that we will continually carry this power we must make sure lay people don't know a damn thing about the truth. again history teaches us that we were not okay with this idea... therefore quasi intelligence men decided they can figure it out for themselves... hence the birth of philosophy--philo-Sophia-- the study of wisdom. again through history we will see that we didn't like this either it wasnt enough... there for the sciences were created to show us physical evidential empirical proof. come on people we know better than this... everything is God and God is everything.. we just need to stop trying to separate everything

  6. Dude it's religious terrorist like this Web site that allows people to believe so whole heartedly in blessings such as Theresa. Web sites like these that lead people astray...the Bible is NOT God word. People come on! it was written by true Satanic worshiping MEN during the Nicean council meeting in which over 50 MEN bishops tried for over 50 years to compile an agreed upon book of "scripture" compiled from what people call Hersey or Apocrypha- ancient scriptures from every religion... it was Constantine who created Christianity. I don't know who's website this is but they should really try to get down and dirty on some studying the true meaning of Christ. if you'll notice most mediums or psychics are women, because like the Christian religion men have denied the true life of women. again please don't take my word for it read!! oh god please don't take anything serious from the website! it was written by a complete ignorant conditioned fearful individual.

  7. trust God? where does that come from weirdo? trusting God comes from within...not bestowed by "good lovin Christians" we know most Christians aren't good or loving...they just hide behind a facade to maintain their purpose. Good is not damning, hateful, hurtful, spiteful, or in any capacity not accepting of SIN (a term developed by the ancients to relate what a mistake is--it's true definition is--to miss the mark.) Making mistakes is why we are here, and we will come back over & over till we get it right FOR OURSELVES not for God. People please realize that God is nothing you could ever imagine...so don't try to imagine them as the ultimate human being...God has never been a being...it is the compilation of ALL beings. & for the author: in OTHER scripture by way of which "the word of God" came about- it describes what happened to Adam & Eve after the "fall"...they were scared upset and didn't know how to proceed, so they threw themselves of the highest cliffs so they could go back to "Heaven" but God brought them back...over & over they did this, until they realized that they had a "purpose" of being "here". and from that point "life"started. Again read, study, research...don't be afraid of fools such as the publisher of this site. from the words of Jesus--those w eyes, see! those w ears, hear! and ultimately--forgive them for they do not understand. do not follow as Jesus said...walk in his way.

  12. To "4Me" (with due respect),

I have no idea what "information" you THINK you gave, but I see no signs of it here.

I on the other hand DID give information, documentation and sources for ALL I said in the article warning people about the deception of "spirit guides" - they are demonic.

As far as, you holding any "knowledge" ... I have yet to see any evidence of your knowledge on this subject or any other.

I do not "fear" you in any manner, I worry for you and your self presumed knowledge on this subject.

How about you actually comment on WHAT I said, rather than what you think of me personally- since you don't know me, you are showing up to a gun fight holding a squirt gun. Hardly seems fair of me to go any further under these circumstances.

God gives me the strength and self awareness, along with it's knowledge, ma'am, precisely because I trust in it. can you fathom that? I mean I understand that most blaspheme is from individuals like you who speak on Jesus behalf through lies. open your eyes! realize what the parables you quote are suppose to mean! LIKE JESUS SAID: THEY WILL CLAIM TO KNOW ME, SAYING OVER HERE! NO OVER THERE! BUT THEY KNOW ME NOT. those with ears to hear!

  15. I love Theresa.I think she is darling, witty, and really a good person at heart. She is a kind and loving person also. But I do not believe her contact from the spirit world comes from God. I believe it comes from Satan, who afterall knows a great deal about us also. He is able to con her into thinking these answers she recieves are from a Holy source.. I disagree. Do I think she thinks it is from Satan and the dark side. No way. He is a master at deception.

  16. To Lucy Loo: You're right on! I too believe Theresa is "nice" person with good intentions, but she IS being deceived by the Devil himself. IF these "spirit guides" were truly from God they would NEVER EVER teach AGAINST God. Christianity REJECTS reincarnation, yet Theresa's "spirit guide" over and over tells her the spirits are reincarnated into fetuses- she's said so just last spring on her show!
People need to DISCERN what is said, not the "warm fuzzies" they feel because they like her and mistakenly THINK she is doing good- she is NOT. When you lie and spread deception to others are doing the DEVIL's work, NOT Gods. That is all there is to it.

    -----------------

To Blessings: All you quoted has ZERO to do with Theresa Caputo and the "spirit guide" telling her heresy. You are confusing SATAN's work with God's Divine work in people. God does NOT lie and deceive people by telling them there is such a thing a "reincarnation" - that comes straight from Hell. Don't fall for it because Caputo makes you feel all warm and fuzzie... the devil doesn't show himself with hooves and horns... he APPEARS as an angel of light for the purpose to DECEIVE. Discernment - that i the key. If the "spirit" is lying, it is NOT from God. Period.

  18. So I m a Christian but can't help but disagree with the majority of this article. The sheer ignorance of this author is nauseating; example number one: pot does not harm lungs at all. You might want to check your facts before you throw them out there, and by the way I do not smoke. Also, these many Bible quotes are irrelevant. Did God write the Bible? No, so how could every single piece of information be his word. All that is for sure about God's word is that we should be loving caring people. I believe that God's word is being the best person you can be, to love your neighbors, to be kind, to not accuse people of working for the devil, etc. Theresa is a kind woman who has be given a gift and uses it as she should. With all do respect, the people that believe this article have been brought up since childhood beliving whatever was handed to them and believe whatever they were told was right; so they could not know better. This "Christian" blog does not seem very Christian to me. Christians should spread gods word, not accuse people of going against it. Also, how do you know that reincarnation is not possible. Everything in the bible cannot be true and there are infinite possibilities. Instead of saying she's not a true Christian because that is a Buddhist belief, maybe you could stop being so closed minded and open up to the possibilities of other religions. One thing I do not like about Christians, but Catholics especially, is that they are so close minded and believe everything they do is oh so holy and correct and that anyone who does otherwise is damned and just purchased a one way ticket to hell. I realize that you probably will delete this because I am completely wrong and have been recruited by the devil, brainwashed by a funny short woman with puffy hair, but I am just happy with knowing someone read this. I doubt it but I hope I could have done my work of god by helping you be more open minded. We all "sin",god still loves us, he still loves Theresa, and I wish you the best in your journey.

  20. Thank you, Julie for this article. It opened my eyes to the truth and how easily the devil can deceive us.

Also, many here saying they are "Christian" (lie Becca) but then attacking the Catholics, are not really Christian. You too are deceivers working for the devil.

Finally, that person called "Me 4" and the so many other nicks they chose to write the same nonsense, you are not fooling anyone. No one cares about your fake "knowledge". As a matter of fact, when I read you, it seems as if the words are coming out of a possessed person... a demon itself.

Lord, thank you for Julie and the work she has done by putting this article together. We Catholics must stand guard against the vile attacks on our faith and our Lord Jesus Christ. Give us the strength and wisdom to hold your word in the highest. Amen!

  23. First...in the Bible (God's Word), there is no mention of a purgatory. There is no mention of Limbo. Unless you study, not just "read", the bible you are relying on others. Read the old testament to find out the danger of the occult, which is the LI medium. Jesus says "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Light. No man comes to the Father except through me." Ergo when we take the 10 commandments which state clearly..."You will have no other gods before Me" and then listen to Ms Caputo declare your father says he is OK ( relinquishing one of any wrongdoing ), you have made yourself a god and dismissed the God of the bible. "come to Me all you who are heavy and burdened and I will give you rest.not the LI Medium. People God left you His book of instructions in the 66 books of the Bible. Seek ye first the Kingdom of GOd..not the LI medium.

  24. Okay, so I have been a fan of Theresa's all along. I am also a practicing Catholic. I went to her "Live experience show" In Birmingham, AL on 2 nights ago, (April 11, 2015). That night she said something that confirmed that her gift absolutely CANNOT be from God! She said, and I quote, "I don't believe there's a Hell, because I've never had a spirit say, hey, it's hot down here Theresa." That is going directly against God's word!! Is she a nice lady, yes..... does she know she's being used by the devil, who knows,.... but what we do know from that statement is that her gift is absolutely, undeniably NOT from God!! It doesn't get any clearer than that! I've prayed about it and I felt like I needed to share that statement she made in case her Reincarnation beliefs weren't enough proof for other Christians. There are a lot of God's people being deceived by her & it's scary! ~God Bless~

  25. Great article. Well written. I am so glad someone at last has said what had to be said. So many people have the lack of knowledge of what they are getting into and falling into the trap of "if they are doing it probably isn't wrong" without researching the possible dangers. Faith that comes from deep within the soul and complete trust in God opens the eyes to understand the truth.

  27. After the loss of my parents, a friend told me she actually knows Teresa Caputo and would be happy to put me in touch with her. It was so tempting, I have to say.
But at the end of the day, if she was able to communicate with my folks they would certainly have said:
"You're talking to a medium??? Are you insane???"
So I never followed up on speaking with her.

  28. Wow, I just read this article and have to say, it is terribly sad that people would not know that what Teresa Caputo is doing is absolutely in conflict with the teachings of Jesus Christ and the church. You are a person on the road to Hell if you consult with sorcerers, people who dabble in the occult, and Magick of any kind. There is so much written in the Bible about this, but if you doubt it, you will find out. God help you, and I mean that.

April 2017, I posted and trying to exchange thoughts with a Alicia Guthrie and she was practically rude and using blasphemy against me and using the F word! 31. Robert Szymanski I think you've confused this blog with someone else's.

I have no idea who "Alicia Guthrie" is or where you were trying to exchange thoughts with her, but it wasn't here.

No Alicia Guthrie has left any comments here at all and no one is allowed to use the "f" word here, it would be removed and the person blocked from ever commenting here again.

Again, sorry but you've got the wrong blog, but thank you for the prayers- they are always welcome! :)
