What Voris is saying turns Jesus' own words to Peter on its head. He gave PETER the keys, I don't think He wanted the keys passed around and shared with the Bishops calling the shots at their discretion.TLMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16185788425122984772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1149438906545544596.post-29341161212011861192016-07-09T21:34:37.203-04:002016-07-09T21:34:37.203-04:00Voris' has turned into a walking, talking emba...Voris' has turned into a walking, talking embarrassment over the past three and a half years (especially the past year)! He's certainly entitled to spout his twisted logic to his CM audience. The only real issue I have is when he goes after others (The Remnant, EWTN, etc.) who don't follow him in his popolatry.Wolverinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15598462294262651699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1149438906545544596.post-19299225407237967922016-07-09T19:11:06.173-04:002016-07-09T19:11:06.173-04:00And very well said @Marie F!And very well said @Marie F!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1149438906545544596.post-9794403968117540162016-07-09T19:08:07.071-04:002016-07-09T19:08:07.071-04:00@Restore-DC-Catholicism My thinking as well. Hi...Michael Voris has been caught in his own web.

His editorial policy is so wrong, so biased against the truth that the Pope can be (and is) wrong that Voris ties himself into knots trying to shore up that position despite the reality that's screaming into his face.

His baseless argument doesn't hold water.

EVEN IF what he says were true (which it's not - the Pope is morally bound to govern regardless of whether he's readily obeyed), the Pope CERTAINLY SHOULDN'T BE ADDING TO MORAL AND DOCTRINAL CONFUSION AND GIVING REBELLIOUS BISHOPS ALL THE HETERODOX STATEMENTS AND DOCUMENTS THEY'RE HOPING FOR, ADDING THE WEIGHT OF HIS AUTHORITY TO THEIR ERRORS.

VORIS IS A SHAM - CAUGHT IN HIS OWN WEB OF CONTRADICTIONS.

THE TRUTH NEVER CONTRADICTS ITSELF. Perform the Consecration of Russia as requested with all the bishops (or as many as will participate). Sometimes all God wants is our trust and obedience in Him. I think God wants to show us that what seems like moving mountains for us, He can accomplish with just a simple act of Faith and obedience on our part.FarmerJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06811759692903348021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1149438906545544596.post-16909236339769204122016-07-09T10:52:16.770-04:002016-07-09T10:52:16.770-04:00Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that, if t...Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that, if the pope were still the ordinary of Buenos Aires and making some of the public statements that he has made and doing some of the things he has done, Mr. Voris would be attacking him publicly?

The problem with Church Militant's position is that the pope does not endorse it.

The pope's idea of who the "bad" bishops are is the polar opposite of Michael Voris' idea on that subject, e.g., Cardinal Kasper.

It's an untenable position.DJRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10857235381774398056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1149438906545544596.post-10355619680365664382016-07-09T08:03:47.105-04:002016-07-09T08:03:47.105-04:00

Of course, some of what he says is true. And much of what he says is half-true. But the overall logic is tortured. What we are left with is Voris hurling fire and brimstone at so many below the Pope, but drawing a line at the Pope. Why? Because the Pope is the leader of of a hierarchical organization, which to some degree is based on respect for hierarchical authority. So to criticize the Pope (according to Voris) is perhaps to criticize the Church. But then we learn that "popes come and popes go" and in the end they have NO (or almost No) authority. What a weird religion Voris sketches out for us. Of course he's wrong. But if he were right, I wouldn't have become a Catholic. Catholicism as he defines it is the silliest and most illogical religion imaginable.
