Shroud of Turin

Tonight I will be at the St. Pius X parish in Middletown, Ct for the "Encounter Jesus Christ through His Holy Shroud" of Turin evening.

A relic will be available for veneration.

I am bringing some non-Catholic family members hoping and praying for a miracle. 🙏

  1. Disappointing, utterly disappointing. Why cannot our diocese tell us when these events are occurring? Is there anything in the Four Country Catholic so gosh darn important they can't find a space for events like this? They can still squeeze in how we neeeed so many immigrants from foreign lands here, and if we don't want our homeland taken over, how un-Catholic we are being. Of course we all know that is not true, and we have eyes so we can see how smashingly well that plan is turning out for Europe (not!), but, at least they could give us information we can use while they're giving us the sad glimpse into what are church is up to today.
I would have loved to have attended this. What a shame! I hope it was wonderful Julie. If you went, what were your impressions.
