Latin Mass in New Haven

On Sunday, 30 September, the Missa Cantata will be offered at 2:00 p.m. It is the external feast for St Michael the Archangel. Fr. Matthew Mauriello, Diocese of Bridgeport, celebrant and homilist.

St Stanislaus Church, State and Eld Streets, New Haven.

The music for the Mass will include the Gregorian chant proper for Michaelmas ("Benedicite Dominum omnes gentes”), the chant Mass IV ordinary ("Cunctipotens Genitor Deus"), and organ music by Eugène Gigout and Charles Tournemire.

Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, 7 October 

The annual Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage will be held at Our Lady of Grace Monastery, 11 Race Hill Road, North Guilford, 3:00 p.m.

Solemn Vespers, Rosary, Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, and Presentation of the Rosary to the Blessed Mother.

The 19th annual Respect Life Conference

The 2018 Respect Life Conference will be held on Saturday, October 13, at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish --Holy Angels Campus, 585 Main Street, South Meriden, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Archbishop Leonard Blair will welcome and open the conference

Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Keynote speaker --founder of the Ruth Institute

Connecticut Right to Life Corporation Convention

Saturday, October 27, 2018 – Courtyard by Marriott, Waterbury 

9:00 a.m. Registration – Convention 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Awards Luncheon Buffet at 12:30 p.m.

FEATURED SPEAKERS: 

Austin Ruse —President, Center for Family and Human Rights– will provide an update on the latest pro-life developments at the United Nations 

Abigail Young —New England Coordinator, Students for Life of America – will provide an overview of SFA activities nationally, in New England, and specifically in Connecticut 

Deacon David Reynolds —Associate Director Public Policy, CT Catholic Public Affairs Conference—will provide a preview of expected pro-life issues to come before the Connecticut General Assembly in the January - June 2019 session 

In addition to these outstanding speakers, there will be vendor tables, awards, and more! 

Convention cost, including luncheon: $40; Clergy, Seminarians, Students: $20 Vendor tables: no charge, with purchase of one convention admission
