Connecticut Catholic Events

March events at the Shrine of Lourdes in Litchfield, 50 Montfort Rd., Rte. 118, Litchfield, CT 06759; 860-567-1041; e-mail: lourdesshrinect@gmail.com.

March 1:  The Grotto Gift Shop will be open daily beginning March 1st:
Mon.-Sat.: 10:30am-4:30pm and Sunday, after Mass: 11:45am-4:30pm.  Lenten items will be available and many new First Communion gifts, as well as medals, rosaries, bibles, Baptismal & Confirmation selections and much more.

March 8:  A LENTEN DAY OF RECOLLECTION: “…if you but knew the Gift of God…” is being offered at Montfort House (on top of the hill) from 9:00am until 3:00pm by Sr. Barbara O’Dea, DW.  The day includes Eucharist & lunch.  Suggested donation: $25; please make reservations by March 3rd860-567-1041, e-mail: lourdesshrine@gmail.com

March 11, 18, and 25:  REFLEXOLOGY FOR SELF CARE – A three-evening class is being offered at Montfort House from 6:30-8:00pm.  The Class Instructor is Joan Carr Myers, Board Certified Reflexologist.  Cost is $60 per person with the proceeds to benefit the Grotto Chapel renovation.  Payment must be received by March 3rd.  To register, call 860-567-1041, e-mail lourdesshrinect@gmail.com.
