A men's trio that performs medieval sacred music, Trio
Triumvirum, are pleased to be the "recital" portion of a recital and
lecture to be held at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Chapel, at Holy Apostles
Seminary, 33 Prospect Hill Rd., Cromwell, CT.
The event is free, and begins at 6pm on Wednesday, November 6 with
the trio; Father Paul Check will give a lecture following the recital.
For
more details, see the attached flyer. (I can also send you a high-res version
for printing, if you'd like.) To hear clips of the trio, click here (Preview) or here (Preview) .
This is the first time Trio Triumvirum will perform for a
bioethics conference(!), but that music is a great manifestation of the beauty
of humanity and truth, the same humanity and truth which bioethics also
serves.
Stay for the lecture by Fr Check, "Clarity & Charity: Catholic Church
and Homosexuality." Father Check is a priest of the Diocese of Bridgeport.
A reception follows.
