Now is not the time to panic good and faithful servants

Between the latest homosexual priests scandals and cover-ups; to the pope changing the catechism some people have apparently reached their limits.

It's understandable, but not an excuse to jump ship.

I left a comment over on The Remnant...
Julie: I pray for this pope and I try so hard to love him...but I fear him. He seems to be purposely destructive...makes me think of the prophecy's from Emmerich about those inside the Church tearing Her down from the inside.
I wonder...will the next pope be able to "undo" what our current pope is doing?
And a wonderful woman quoted the Catechism (a part that so far, hasn't changed).
Ann Malley replies to Julie @ CT Catholic Corner...
Look to CCC 675: Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers (cf. Lk 18:8; Mt 24:12). The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth (cf. Lk 21:12; Jn 15: 19-20), will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of His Messiah come in the flesh (cf. 2Thess 2: 4-12; 1Thess 5: 2-3; 2Jn 7:1; 1Jn 2:18, 22).
We all knew this was coming, but we forget when these things happen. We are shook and scandalized and frustrated and angry. I happen to believe the Anne Catherine Emmerich prophecies about what is coming... the near total (the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church) destruction of the Church by Freemasons and rotten clergy in the Church. So I can't say that I am surprised by anything coming from the Church any more. It breaks my heart to see and it does make me angry, but I am not shocked by it because we have been warned.

Anne Catherine Emmerich prophecy

“Last night I had a vision of the Pope. I saw St. Francis carrying the church, and the basilica of St. Peter borne on the shoulders of a little man who had something of the Jew in his countenance. It looked very perilous. Mary stood on the north side of the church with her mantle extended over it. The little man was almost bent double. He is, as yet, a laic. I know who he is. The twelve men whom I always see as the twelve new Apostles ought to have helped him, but they arrive too late; however, just as he was about to fall, they all ran up with myriads of angels to his assistance. It was only the pavement and the back part of the church, for all the rest had been demolished by the secret society helped by the servants of the church themselves. They bore it to another place, and it seems as if rows of palaces fell before it like fields of wheat in harvest time.

“When I saw St. Peter’s in this ruinous state and so many ecclesiastics laboring, though secretly, at its destruction, I was so overcome that I cried earnestly to Jesus for mercy. Then I saw my Heavenly Spouse (Jesus) before me under the form of a youth. He spoke to me for a long time. He told me that this translation of St. Peter’s signified that the Church would apparently fall to total ruin: but that, resting on these supports, she would be raised up again. Even if there should remain but one Catholic Christian, the Church would again triumph since its foundations were not cast in the intellect or councils of men. She had never yet been without members praying and suffering for her. He showed me all that He Himself had endured for her, what efficacy He had bestowed upon the merits and labors of the martyrs and He ended by saying that He would endure it all over again if it were possible for Him again to suffer. He showed me, also, in numberless pictures, the miserable aims of Christians and ecclesiastics throughout the whole world. The vision grew wider, more extended, until it embraced my own country; and then Jesus exhorted me to perseverance in prayer and expiatory suffering. It was an unspeakably great and sorrowful picture. I cannot describe it!”[clip]

And...“Then, I saw that everything that pertained to Protestantism was gradually gaining the upper hand, and the Catholic religion fell into complete decadence. Most priests were lured by the glittering but false knowledge of young school-teachers, and they all contributed to the work of the destruction

“In those days, Faith will fall very low, and it will be preserved in some places only, in a few cottages and in a few families which God has protected from disasters and wars.”[end quote]

We have the Sacred Scriptures as mentioned in the catechism and many prophecies warning us about what is coming, so none of us should be shocked to be witnessing these things. Saddened yes, but not so much that we jump out of the Ark of our Salvation and into certain death.

We were warned so that we could be prepared.

We must hold fast to the authentic Faith, go to Mass and Confession, practice a good devout prayer life and work out our salvation as Saint Paul tells us while trying to save the souls of those around us. If we want to hear "Well done, good and faithful servant" at the end of our life, then we must be "good and faithful" until the end of our lives.

Don't jump ship in the storm- there is no salvation to be found anywhere else.

In Christ and holding on,

Julie @ Connecticut Catholic Corner

Life Site News: Plea to the Pope video

*loud wild applause*

From Youtube video description:

Published on Jul 13, 2016

ROME, July 13, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) -- In a spirit of love, humility, and faithfulness, 16 international life and family advocates are asking Pope Francis in a powerful new video to unambiguously speak the truth of the Catholic faith, to end doctrinal confusion, to restore clarity, and to be the Holy Father that Catholics need.

“We are living in a very special time of a deep crisis of faith inside the Church,” said Bishop Athanasius Schneider, the Auxiliary in the diocese of Maria Santissima in Kazakhstan, who opens the video, produced by LifeSiteNews.

“It is not a secret. It is very evident. A lot of people, the simple faithful, are suffering because of the situation of confusion,” he added.

The 30-minute film, titled Plea to the Pope, comes in the wake of confusion caused by the pope’s April release of his Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia, in which he made a number of concerning statements about marriage, divorce, sin, reception of Holy Communion, and sex education for children. The Exhortation has generated numerous contradictory interpretations from various theologians as well as cardinals and bishops.

Bishop Schneider called it “very urgent” that the pope “states more clearly, in a very unambiguous manner — in such a manner which will not leave any space for misinterpretations — [on] the issues of family and the sacredness of marriage.”

The film contains an impressive lineup of international life and family advocates who decided that the time had come to voice their concerns for the good of the Church, of souls, and of nations.

Press Release: EWTN Launches Italian-language Catholic News Agency

ACI Stampa Will Provide Italian-language Reporting

Irondale, AL (EWTN) – EWTN Global Catholic Network has launched ACI Stampa, a new Rome-based Italian-language Catholic news agency. The new service was formally introduced on Thursday, Sept. 10 at an event held adjacent to the Vatican press center in Rome.

“I am pleased to announce the launch of our new Italian-language news outlet, ACI Stampa, which marks another important milestone in the Network's service to the Church,” said EWTN Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael P. Warsaw. “We have been able to bring together an exceptionally talented and very experienced team that is being led by longtime Vatican journalist and author Angela Ambrogetti."

"Our team's knowledge of the Church and the workings of the Holy See, as well as their familiarity with issues of importance within Italy, will enable us to fill a gap that exists today in news coverage in that region," added Warsaw. "This service will be part of the ACI Group, EWTN's international news organization, and will also enable us to share the content that is created with people around the globe through our other news platforms. I am excited to have this new service join the EWTN family.”

The ACI Group was acquired by EWTN in 2014 and includes ACI Prensa, the world’s largest Spanish-language Catholic news organization with headquarters in Lima, Peru, and ACI Digital, the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil-based news organization, which serves the Portuguese-speaking world. In 2014, EWTN also acquired Catholic News Agency, the Denver, Colorado-based news organization, which serves the English-speaking world.

“We were honored to welcome Vatican officials and journalists from around the world to our event celebrating the launch of ACI Stampa,” said the ACI Group’s Executive Director Alejandro Bermudez. “ACI Stampa joins the ACI Group’s existing office in Rome. The Group also maintains offices in the U.S., Peru, Chile, and Brazil and fields correspondents in Spain and Southeast Asia. ACI Stampa, which has its own independent editorial team, is a significant step forward for the ACI Group as well as for the larger EWTN News family."

“The birth of a new Catholic information service is a big challenge,” said ACI Stampa Editorial Director Angela Ambrogetti, “but it is also a way of showing that the Catholic Church has a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Our task is to be unbiased and to prepare ourselves every day to serve truth.”
Ambrogetti is among the world's best-known Vatican journalists, who are also known as "Vaticanistas".  She is a senior member of the Vatican press corps and her resume includes long stints with Vatican Radio, the Italian broadcaster Telepace, and the Italian Catholic website Korazym. She is also the author of several books on Pope Saint John Paul II.

The launch of ACI Stampa is the latest step in EWTN’s efforts to expand its news presence in the global Catholic digital and multimedia marketplace. In 2013, the Network launched “EWTN News Nightly”, a daily news program from Washington, D.C. covering news and world events from a Catholic perspective. In 2011, EWTN acquired “The National Catholic Register”the leading Catholic newspaper in the United States. The Network also produces “The World Over with Raymond Arroyo”, the highly-acclaimed weekly news analysis and interview program. In addition, EWTN’s radio and digital media services have greatly expanded their news dimension in recent years.

EWTN Global Catholic Network, now in its 35th year, is the largest religious media network in the world. EWTN’s 11 television networks broadcast in multiple languages 24 hours a day, seven days a week to over 250 million television households in more than 140 countries and territories. EWTN’s outreach includes direct broadcast satellite television and radio services; AM & FM radio networks transmitted through SIRIUS/XM, iHeart Radio, and over 300 Catholic radio affiliates across the U.S.; a worldwide shortwave radio service; one of the largest Catholic websites in the U.S.; print and electronic news services and EWTN Publishing, Inc.

Catholic nun sings Madonna's "Like a virgin" song...

Good grief, what was she thinking?

Music video by Sister Cristina performing Like A Virgin. (C) 2014 Universal Music Italia Srl

QuoteIn an interview with the Catholic daily Avvenire this week, Sister Cristina explained why she picked Like a Virgin as one of the tracks on her album, which will be released next month."I chose it myself, without any desire to provoke or cause a scandal. By reading the text, without letting yourself be influenced by previous [interpretations], you discover that it is a song about the ability of love to renew people, to redeem them from their past. And that’s how I wanted to interpret it."
Original Madonna lyrics (Sister Cristina removed the BLUE parts in her version)

"Like A Virgin"

I made it through the wilderness
Somehow I made it through
Didn't know how lost I was
Until I found you

I was beat incomplete
I'd been had, I was sad and blue
But you made me feel
Yeah, you made me feel
Shiny and new

[Chorus:]

Like a virgin
Touched for the very first time
Like a virgin
When your heart beats [after first time, "With your heartbeat"]
Next to mine

Gonna give you all my love, boy
My fear is fading fast
Been saving it all for you
'Cause only love can last

You're so fine and you're mine
Make me strong, yeah you make me bold
Oh your love thawed out
Yeah, your love thawed out
What was scared and cold

[chorus]

Oooh, oooh, oooh

You're so fine and you're mine
I'll be yours 'till the end of time
'Cause you made me feel
Yeah, you made me feel
I've nothing to hide

[chorus]

Like a virgin, ooh, ooh
Like a virgin
Feels so good inside
When you hold me, and your heart beats, and you love me

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Ooh, baby
Can't you hear my heart beat
For the very first time?

*sigh*

Has Michael Voris finally had it with Pope Francis?

Several Catholic media outlets and bloggers are wondering if Michael Voris is finally ready to admit we have a problem and its name is Pope Francis.

Over at “Harvesting the Fruit of Vatican II” and “Mundabor’s Blog” the topic of Voris "finally seeing the light" is being discussed after a recent breaking news video from Voris in Rome.

From listening to Voris for years (Vortex+teaching videos) I personally believe Voris was as unhappy with Pope Francis as the rest of us from at least Holy Week [Voris has been VERY outspoken against women feet washing etc].  I’ve never spoken to Voris personally, so this is just my personal opinion from what I know of him through the Internet.

What people have to know is that deciding to NOT publicly call out a pope is NOT the same as supporting all a pope says or does.  The message (months back) posted on Church Militant's website was clear.  Voris would not publicly rip apart the Pope, as he does with other Catholic clergy.  That was HIS line in the sand.  People need to respect him for that.

How much HARDER it must be for him to keep his mouth shut if he feels as so many do about Pope Francis?

I wouldn't put myself in that position of suffering (and believe me it WOULD be suffering for ME to keep my mouth shut!), but Michael did and I believe it was because he didn't want to cause panic among the faithful.  [Previous post I wrote on this HERE]

If HE, Michael Voris, caused wide spread panic through his Church Militant TV apostolate and he ended up being wrong, that would fall on him and he knows it.  Voris is not an idiot.  He is concerned not only with his own soul but the souls of others. He knows he has the ears of thousands of people through the Internet and  he decided to use caution and drew a line in the sand for himself.  I respect that.  I have no such patience or self control when it comes to the Pope [or anyone else inside the Church] and for that *I* may well spend a very long, long time in purgatory.

Voris has thus far shown MORE concern for the Catholic faithful that a great many of our own Bishops have and certainly many Catholic bloggers- myself included.

I don't believe Voris is happy with much of anything coming from the Vatican these days - how could ANY devout practicing Catholic be?  And perhaps one day Pope Francis will go 'too far' and Voris will call him out on it.  If that day comes, it will be over a MAJOR INDISPUTABLE BLASPHEMY done -which we might all see in 2017 with the "celebration" of heretic Martin Luther and how the Pope (be it Francis or another) participates in that blasphemy.  I don't think even Voris would hold back in such a situation.  Time will tell.

Voris' videos this week clearly show he is exhausted, not just physically but I believe exhausted in the way a soldier is after years of combat – weary, but in no way finished fighting the battle.

I hope his “Retreat at Sea” revitalizes him because the Catholic faithful need more Michael Voris’s – especially in times like these.

In Christ,

The author was afraid that she’d stop seeing Christ in people. As she rightly says, it takes work to see Christ in the world with the many distractions we daily face. She wonders, “Have I put in the work?” Does mercy have a life within you? Acts of mercy can be small, as we are taught by Saint Therese of Lisieux in her Little Way.

The Gay Christmas Lights of Rome

Is nothing sacred any more?

Christmas lights in Rome normally used to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, have been hijacked by the perverted.

The Christmas Lights normally seen in Rome this time of year have been replaced with "Gay Lights"- a rainbow flag of lights cloaking the streets.  The lights are meant to make people forget about Christ's birth and instead focus on gays and the made up nonsense of people fearing homosexuals (homophobia).

"City assemblywoman Imma Battaglia says she and mayor Ignazio Marino had decided to send a message with the multi-coloured lights, which lit up on Friday and ripple for a kilometre and a half of the bustling Via del Corso.
Ms Battaglia, who also leads a gay rights campaign group, said the lights were intended to be against homophobia following the suicide of a gay teenager in the city."
