So this isn't my typical post. It isn't about anything Catholic.
It's about an iguana that was apparently dumped by its owner or escaped its home and is now living at Hubbard Park in Meriden, Ct.
I have called just about everyone in the state and even sent emails to local news media about this little guy or gal, but so far no one wants to help catch him/her.
Even the Humane Society isn't interested!
This iguana has been here for better than three months since my daughter first noticed him back in June. He/she will not survive the cold weather that will soon be here.
So on that note, I am reaching out to my readers, especially those here in Connecticut to get the word out. If you know anyone who can help this iguana - or catch him/her please pass this on.
According to the City of Meriden, anyone is free to attempt to catch him and take him home. He is not the property of the park and they will not care for him/her.
Please pass this on to your friends in Connecticut, share it on Facebook and get the word out.
Someone out there must be able to help.
Thank you.
God bless.
In Christ,
