Catholic Events in Connecticut

The Gospel of Life Society will meet Saturday, January 11, 10-Noon.

Mass will be offered at 9am for the intentions of the Pro-Life movement

Speaker: Chris DeSanctis, an adjunct professor of Government and Politics at Sacred Heart University will discuss the US Constitution as it relates to Pro Life rights, and the infringement on religious freedom by Obamacare and the HHS Mandate.

The Morning of Recollection for Men on Saturday, January 11, will be the Opus Dei Morning of Recollection.

Location: St Anthony Church, 70 Washington Street, New Haven, CT

    Schedule

    7:30   Priest Available for confession
    7:45   Meditation by the priest
    8:25   Examination of Conscience
    8:40   Talk by a layman
    9:00   Holy Mass

    The priest is also available for confession from 8:15 until 9:00 am.

Men Under Construction: A Father/Son Talk by Steve Wood

Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Steve Wood’s talk, “Men Under Construction: A Father/Son Talk” is for men of all ages, single, married, fathers, grandfathers. Hope you'll consider coming. 

The talk is from 9-11 AM, followed by benediction, and a pizza lunch. There's even a juggling demonstration by some boys from the St. Gregory Academy, in PA.

The Basilica of St. John the Evangelist is right by exit 8 off I-95. It's also walking distance from the Stamford Metro-North station.
