Church Militant is so mean!

Poor befuddled heretical Fr. James Martin is the victim of those bullies at Church Militant who pointed out his heretical speech and got the wheels turning for numerous speaking engagements to be terminated. *woohoo*

Fr. James Martin has for years been a cheerleader for gay causes, particularly gay marriage,
Quote: "Referring to an active homosexual friend in a same-sex marriage, Martin said, "I have a hard time imagining how even the most traditionalist, homophobic, closed-minded Catholic cannot look at my friend and say, 'That is a loving act, and that is a form of love that I don't understand but I have to reverence.'" [Youtube video of Fr. Martin praising his friends gay "marriage" and the need to "reverence" that relationship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=55&v=GHpKah-Kx-A ]

...even though the Catholic Church is crystal clear that NO Catholic can EVER support gay unions (no such thing as a gay "marriage" regardless of what society says).
2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, 141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered." 142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
While Fr. James Martin supports gay pride parades and tells Catholic they must have "reverence" for gay marriages, Christ's Holy Catholic Church says otherwise. Both cannot be correct.

Church Militant has pointed out this obvious basic fact on numerous occasions and finally people are demanding their Catholic institutes stop inviting clergy who speak heresy.

And of course, that has Fr. Martin playing the victim on social media as his ignorant groupies swoon and rage at the injustice of it all! Quick, open up more safe spaces with coloring books, bubbles and puppies, lots and lots of puppies!

Get out the Kleenex...

Most of the people commenting seem to be confused Catholics who don't know the Church's teaching on homosexual unions or Catholics who reject Church teaching in favor of following Fr. Martin on his bridge to Hell.
Like "BroMark"...

But then you get others like Amy Athene who from her Twitter page appears to be indicating she is of the Jewish faith...

...yet she says this...

This poor creature is completely backwards. What "church" is heeding "extreme hate"? And where does she get the idea that Church Militant pointing out the Teachings of Christ's Holy Catholic Church constitute any sort of "hate" at all? The catechism says what it says, either you believe it or you don't. Church Militant happens to believe the Teachings of the Catholic Church, and this woman (among others) labels them the "extreme" haters for it. While we've got Fr. James Martin rejecting Christ's Holy Catholic Church's teaching (#2357) that clearly states we can NEVER support homosexual unions in favor of telling people he has "reverence" for gay unions.

The hatred is not coming from Church Militant for speaking the authentic truth of the Catholic Faith. Rather, the hatred is coming from Fr. James Martin who is speaking with the serpent's tongue leading people out of the Truth and along his bridge to Hell.

Facebook silences Catholic voices

It's really time Christians had an alternative to Facebook.

While Facebook continues to allow live streaming of sex acts, assaults, rape, child porn and murders on their media outlet, they are working hard to silence Catholics.

Over at ChurchPop today there are two articles on popular Catholic Facebook pages being shut down by the Zuckerberg zombies.

These are clearly widely popular Catholic Facebook pages with millions of Likes and followers.
ChurchPop quote“It is extremely heartbreaking,” Kenneth Alimba explained. “It’s too horrible.”
Alimba, a Catholic who lives in Nigeria, was the owner of the Facebook page titled “Catholic and Proud.” It had over 6 million Likes when it was removed by Facebook today without explanation. He had another page titled “Holy Mary Mother of God,” which had around 200,000 Likes and was also removed.
His pages are just two of possibly dozens of Catholic Facebook pages simultaneously removed around the world in the last day or so, including the “Father Rocky” page (3.3 million Likes) and a popular Portuguese-language Pope Francis page called “Papa Francisco Brasil” (3.8 million Likes).
“I’ve worked on the page for over five years,” he told ChurchPOP, “and have put in all I am into it.”
Godwin Delali Adadzie, the owner of another removed Catholic Facebook page “Jesus and Mary,” with 1.7 million Likes, also shared his story with ChurchPOP.
“This page is the joy of my apologetics ministry online. It is like the digital heartbeat of my ministry.”
Earlier a Catholic priest was suspended from his Facebook account for posting about the history of Islam. (We know how much the left hates true history)

Church Militant has an article about Facebook silencing conservatives who use Facebook to try to educate the public about the dangers of Islam terrorism and the push for sharia law in numerous countries around the globe.
CM quote: Facebook is continuing to censor Conservative websites critical of Islam.
Steve Amundson, founder of Counter Jihad Coalition, told Church Militant that Facebook has been locking him out of his page, Counter Jihad Coalition, since July 11.
Amundson uses his Facebook page and website CounterJihadcoalition.org to "educate people on political Islam, the threat of sharia and the violence that's in political Islam."
In another timely article on Church Militant's website, Christine Niles warns about the silencing of anyone the Zuckerberg zombies deem "racist" or "zenophobic".
CM quote: Shortly after, Facebook implemented its "Initiative for Civil Courage Online" to delete what it deemed "racist" or "xenophobic" comments. But Douglas Murray at the Gatestone Institute warned it was a tool for further censorship of legitimate conservative voices.
"The sinister thing about what Facebook is doing is that it is now removing speech that presumably almost everybody might consider racist," said Murray, "along with speech that only someone at Facebook decides is 'racist.'"
Church Militant's Michael Voris is clearly seeing the writing on the wall and is taking steps to protect his Catholic voice on the Internet by purchasing CM's own internal server so that it's material doesn't suddenly disappear at the whim of some leftist media platforms that could pull the plug on them at any moment like Facebook has done to so many Catholics.

What will become of my fellow Catholic bloggers and I if Blogger and WordPress etc, decide to silence us?

If anyone knows of a Catholic platform or has been toying with the idea of creating one such platform, now is the time my friends.

Father William Barrocas: Lover of lovers?

**due to the offensive content, the images have been covered**

I just don't understand some priests on Twitter.

For example, Fr. Barrocas tweets a "Happy Friday Love" tweet...

...to "swinger" Miau Miau on Twitter:

The image Fr. William retweeted his "Happy Friday Love" with is this:

At first I thought his account might have been hacked so I looked around a bit... it doesn't appear to be hacked...

Fr. William seems to know Miau Miau.

This all certainly puts a new twist on Father's motto "lover of lovers"in his Twitter profile!

The Blogger from Brooklyn is wrong

'There is not in the whole world a monster to be compared with a priest in the state of sin, for the unfortunate man will not bear with correction.'
 -St. Jerome-

Over at the blog “Catholic in Brooklyn”, Church Militant TV's Michael Voris has once again (this is at least the 12th time by my count) been the target of this blogger’s wagging finger.  I don’t know what it is about Voris that sets this person off, but a simple search of the “Catholic in Brooklyn” blog shows PAGES of posts ranting about Michael Voris.

The post I am talking about today is entitled “St. Catherine of Siena warns Michael Voris and the Catholic Blogosphere”.  The blogger completely twists the meaning of words, scripture and our Catholic faith to attempt some sort of attack or correction of Michael Voris and other Catholic bloggers (that would include me because I do the same things as you'll see in the links to my own past posts on this issue) for reporting on priests in the Church who reject the Faith and teach heresy.

This blogger firmly believes Catholics are not allowed (by fear of God) to point out evil within the clergy(more on that later).  But first the blogger wrongly accuses Voris of "manipulating" viewers because he shows videos of Catholic clergy and Catholics behaving in ways that are not Catholic [supporting and/or marching in gay pride parades].  The misuse of the word "manipulate" is only the beginning...read on and see for yourselves.

Of course this is wrong -and I said so in my comments left on the blog(see below).

Catholic clergy ARE participating in gay parades - I've done posts on it with photos of the priests AT the gay pride parades (see photo below):

And this has been going on for DECADES in the Church...

So I have just proven that "Catholic in Brooklyn" is WRONG about Voris "manipulating" people with false images.  Catholic clergy ARE doing these things, Voris is right and Catholic in Brooklyn is wrong.

The only "manipulating" going on here is done by the Catholic in Brooklyn blogger who seems determined to attack Voris and other bloggers for reporting on Catholic clergy who are promoting MORTAL SIN.  As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, this is not the first time Catholic in Brooklyn has taken shots at Voris and others who report on this issue. There is a clear and distinct bias from this blogger against any Catholics who point out heresy or other evils done by Catholic clergy.

The "Catholic in Brooklyn" blogger goes on to butcher the meaning of "persecute" to mean Catholics aren't allowed to condemn evil done by clergy because...God says so.  If one looks at how "persecute" is used by the Catholic Church in our catechism it is clear those being persecuted are KEEPING the Faith, not those rejecting the faith.  More: here.

See how "Catholic in Brooklyn" distorts the word and God himself to justify his/her personal beliefs and manipulating people into thinking he/she is making some sort of point.  They aren't and don't.

To manipulate the word "persecute" in such a way is shameful and entirely wrong. Christ's priests are those doing God's Will, not heretics.  You'd think the Catholic Church its self must have "persecuted" old heretic Martin Luther when he was a priest in the Church by this blogger's twisting of quotes and definitions!

Apparently this blogger also believes Catholics are not allowed to speak against any evil done by clergy- that we must keep silent and allow the evil to go on.  I wonder if this applies to child molesting priests in the Church too?  Should we keep our silence about them?

If we take this particular Catholic blogger’s twisted personal interpretation of St. Catherine’s quote then we MUST keep silent and not expose sexual predators in our clergy.

Of course that is ridiculous and disgusting!

So is keeping silent about heretics in the Church who are leading people to HELL.

To keep silent is to ALLOW the evil to continue and spread.

"Not to oppose error is to approve it; and not to defend truth is to suppress it; and indeed to neglect to confound evil men, when we can do it, is no less a sin than to encourage them." -Pope St. Felix III

The blogger over at "Catholic in Brooklyn" is 100% wrong in ALL he/she has written in this post.

We ARE our brother’s keepers and it is not just our right to speak out against evil-even in the clergy- it is our DUTY.  Saints in our Church's history have called out priests who do evil and they have not been "persecuting" God as this Brooklyn blogger seems to think.
'This is the way I am dealt with by the priests who are my betrayers . . . Their sentence is condemnation. David condemned those who were disobedient to God, not out of anger or bad will or impatience, but out of divine justice, because he was a righteous prophet and king. I, too, who am greater than David, condemn these priests, not out of anger or bad will but out of justice. Accursed be everything they take from the earth for their own profit, for they do not praise their God and Creator who gave them these things. Accursed be the food and drink that enters their mouths and fattens their bodies to become food for worms and destines their souls for Hell. Accursed be their bodies that will rise again in Hell to be burned without end. Accursed be the years of their useless lives. Accursed be their first hour in Hell that never will end. Accursed be their eyes that saw the light of heaven. Accursed be their ears that heard my words and remained indifferent. Accursed be their sense of taste by which they tasted my gifts. Accursed be their sense of touch by which they handled me. Accursed be their sense of smell by which they smelled delightful things and neglected me, the most delightful of all. May they be accursed by earth and sky and every brute creature. These obey and glorify God, whereas they have shunned him. Therefore, I swear by the truth, I who am the Truth that if they die like this with such a disposition, neither my love nor my virtue will ever encompass them. Instead, they will be forever damned.' -The Lord, to St. Bridget of Sweden

That all said, here is my comment I left on the Catholic in Brooklyn blog:

Connecticut Catholic Corner February 9, 2015 at 9:18 AM "If the faith is in imminent peril, prelates ought to be accused by their subjects, even in public." -St. Thomas Aquinas

You're wrong about priests and gay parades. Catholic clergy are continually leading people into Hell over the issue of homosexual sins (gay sexual relationships).

See here: http://connecticutcatholiccorner.blogspot.com/2014/06/when-will-vatican-end-catholic-parishes.html

And here: http://connecticutcatholiccorner.blogspot.com/2013/11/a-catholic-priest-helps-people-go-to.html

And here: http://connecticutcatholiccorner.blogspot.com/2014/10/priest-i-am-coming-out-for-gay-equality.html

I could go on as Voris has because the examples go on and on and on.
Heretics in the clergy are leading people to HELL and that is something EVERY Catholic should worry about and attempt to stop.
"Not to oppose error is to approve it; and not to defend truth is to suppress it; and indeed to neglect to confound evil men, when we can do it, is no less a sin than to encourage them." -Pope St. Felix III
"The greatest obstacle in the apostolate of the Church is the timidity or rather the cowardice of the faithful."-Pope St. Pius X
“If one yields ground on any single point of Catholic doctrine, one will later have to yield later in another, and again in another, and so on until such surrenders come to be something normal and acceptable. And when one gets used to rejecting dogma bit by bit, the final result will be the repudiation of it altogether.” - and - “What shall a Catholic do if some portion of the Church detaches itself from communion of the universal Faith? What other choice can he make if some new contagion attempts to poison, no longer a small part of the Church, but the whole Church at once, then his great concern will be to attach himself to antiquity (Tradition) which can no longer be led astray by any lying novelty.”  quotes from St. Vincent of Lerin
And of course Canon Law is on Voris' side too:
"According to their knowledge, competence and prestige which they possess, [the Christian faithful] have the right and even at the times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful" - Canon Law 212 Section 3

I don't know why the "Catholic in Brooklyn" blogger insists on redefining words, manipulating quotes from Saints and "shooting the messenger"(Voris).

Voris is not creating the problem in the Church, he's exposing it and wanting it cleaned up.

The "Catholic in Brooklyn" blogger seems to prefer pointing fingers are Voris and other Catholic bloggers rather than the offenders themselves.  Strange way to live out our Catholic faith which requires us to expose evil, not cover it up- even if its Catholic clergy doing the evil.

"If the faith is in imminent peril, prelates ought to be accused by their subjects, even in public."
 -St. Thomas Aquinas

Just before finishing my post, "Catholic in Brooklyn" responded to my comment left on his/her blog...

You may well have good intentions Catholic in Brooklyn, but you are manipulating and warping everything because of your personal biases.  If you believe what you just said to me, you MUST believe it is wrong to condemn priests who sexually abuse children and that the Church was in error to condemn Martin Luther for all he did.

Sorry "Catholic in Brooklyn" but you are dead wrong because they are your words that have twisted, redefined and manipulated Church teachings and quotes.

And because it isn't in my nature to simply shut up about such errors, this Catholic blogger isn't going to be silent.  God will indeed be my Judge and I am good with that.

May the peace of the Lord be with you.

What the hell is going on in Catholic churches?

From World Cup soccer masses...

to Superbowl masses...

and now this... at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New Zealand...

Youtube Description:
Published on Jan 9, 2015 - Santo Niño devotees offer a liturgical dance to our Holy Infant during the first day novena held in St. Patrick's Cathedral, Auckland, New Zealand. The Sinulog Dance is dance of worship offered by the Filipino people to our Holy Child Jesus Christ.
This is what Adoration looks like at the same Cathedral.

The above photo is from their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/stpatricksnz

Will Pope Francis do anything about this?  How can the Church be a "hospital" to the hurting, if the clergy are nitwit clowns incapable of celebrating a Mass without liturgical abuse??

These obscene masses must end, they are abominations to our Lord!  Are all these Catholics (including the clergy) idiots who have no idea what the Mass is or do they know and simply not care?  Are these Catholic clergy PURPOSELY working to insult and profane the Lord and His Mass?  Are they that evil?  Or simply that stupid?

I pray they will one day soon have the faith and wisdom to know what they are doing is wrong, the fear of the Lord so they repent of what they've done, and the will to make reparations for it.

Until then, may God have mercy on them.

In Christ,

Julie @ Connecticut Catholic Corner

PS - While checking out St. Patrick's Cathedral Facebook and website I found a photo of the Vicar General Msgr. Bernard's tattoo...

Why is Fr. Barron endorsing a profanity filled fornication movie?

I just don’t understand Fr. Robert Barron at all.  I know of Fr. Barron from his appearances on EWTN, his assorted DVD's and his "Word on Fire" series.  I did not expect to see him support a teen movie that clearly goes against Catholic teaching for Catholic parents.

As a Catholic parent, I read A LOT about what the Church teaches and has taught on Catholic parenting.  One thing is very clear, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO BE SUBJECTED TO (this includes books, movies, television shows, video games etc.).

So when I saw Fr. Barron make a Youtube video ENDORSING the movie "The Fault in our Stars" I was not only shocked but extremely disappointed in Fr. Barron.  This is another example of the Church teaching one thing and a priest doing the opposite.

How can a priest put his stamp of approval on a movie that 1) takes the name of the Lord in vain, 2) depicts fornication (two teens having sex), and 3) uses terms like “a$$hole” and “bulls**t” and “freaking douche”?

Is this what Fr. Barron (according to his Youtube video) wants our Catholic youth watching?  Really?

The movie “The Fault in our Stars” is about two teens dealing with cancer and what, if anything awaits them (all of us) after death.  But the issue I have is what else is included in the story- as mentioned above.

Movie clip:

Here is Fr. Barron’s Youtube video endorsement of the movie:

Christian review of “The Fault in our Stars” by Christian magazine Thriving Family writes:

Authority roles:  Both Hazel's and Augustus' parents are loving, caring, and long suffering. Augustus' parents make him watch television in the living room rather than in the basement when he first brings Hazel to his house. Hazel's mother has devoted herself to taking care of her daughter. She insists Hazel attend the support group when she thinks Hazel is depressed. Later, Hazel discovers that her mother has been taking courses from a college and that she will soon get her degree in counseling so she can help other families in similar situations to theirs. Although Hazel's mother accompanies them to Amsterdam, she has no hesitation about leaving Hazel and Augustus alone. In fact, they have sex in his hotel room while she explores the museums.

Profanity/Graphic violence:  The dialogue is laced with profanity. H---, b--ch, bulls--t, b--tard and a variation of the f-word are used. A-- is used alone and with bad, hole and clown. God's name is used alone and with d--n and oh my. The phrase sweet holy Lord is used as well as sweet Jesus Christ. Other objectionable words are p---, p---ed, sucks, freaking douche, dumbbutt crap, gosh dang, boobs and boobies.
The only violence in the book is in the descriptions of the video game that Augustus and Isaac like to play. There are some fairly graphic descriptions of Hazel's and Augustus' illnesses. When Hazel is in the ICU, Augustus describes the black cancer fluid being drained from her lungs. Augustus soils the bed and vomits on himself as his body deteriorates.

Kissing/Sex/Homosexuality:   Isaac and his girlfriend kiss outside the church after a support group meeting. Hazel can tell that Isaac is feeling his girlfriend's breast while they kiss. Hazel's friend alludes to wanting to have sex with Augustus. Hazel looks up pictures of Augustus' old girlfriend on the Internet and sees several of the couple kissing. Augustus jokes that he thinks his grand gesture of including her in his wish should have gotten him laid. Augustus and Hazel kiss passionately in Anne Frank's house. Later that afternoon they have sex in his hotel room. It is intimated they have sex the following morning as well. When Augustus learns that Isaac has a computer program that will read his emails, he tells him that he'll send Isaac porn. After Augustus dies, Hazel and Isaac play his favorite video game but tell the characters to do sexual things like hump the wall instead of actually trying to win the game.

For me, this is NOT something a Catholic priest should endorse.

I am very disappointed in Fr. Barron for the grave scandal his endorsement might give to our youth.

Catechism: #2353 -Fornication is carnal union between an unmarried man and an unmarried woman. It is gravely contrary to the dignity of persons and of human sexuality which is naturally ordered to the good of spouses and the generation and education of children. Moreover, it is a grave scandal when there is corruption of the young.

In Christ,

Julie @ Connecticut Catholic Corner

PS - fans of the book who want to tell me about the "love" the book and movie depict can save your rantings and hate mail- you won't change my mind.  Anyone who fornicates and doesn't repent is GOING TO HELL.
Fornication depicted in books and movies is CORRUPTING society. That isn't love, it is hate. Catholic priests, laity and parents NEED to teach that reality, not the misguided lie that 'if its love God is ok with it'.  If you love someone, you don't fornicate with them.  God is NEVER ok with fornication- its a mortal sin that sends people to hell.  Period.
