Jesuit priest Thomas Reese on Twitter

I spent about 10 minutes looking at Jesuit priest, Thomas Reese's tweets on Twitter for the month of April. 

It's no surprise this Jesuit, like his counterpart Fr. James Martin, have a Twitter feed packed with liberal, progressive often anti-Catholic tweets promoting/sharing articles in favor of homosexuality, gay marriage, heresy, etc. 

Here are a few from the month of April... 

This article is about a lesbian who says God called her to be a Methodist minister even though the Methodists are still battling within their denomination over homosexual clergy. 

Article quote: "Cullom came out as a lesbian during her senior year at LaGrange College, a United Methodist-affiliated school about 90 miles south of her home in Kennesaw, Ga.  For a time, she was engaged to another woman, but broke it off before seminary and has not had a partner since." 

"After delivering the sermon, she realized: “This is what I’m supposed to do.”
She had moved from “I won’t play in your sandbox” to “Wait a minute. It’s my sandbox. I’m going to play here. You can get out if you don’t like it.”
In her classes, she had learned about Martin Luther, John Wesley, Jarena Lee, Maria Stewart — Christians who pursued their call to preach in spite of the established church."

Reese seems to really, really like the potential prospect of a "married" abomination in the White House. He tweets articles about homosexual politician Pete Buttigieg over and over and over again. 

Buttigieg says: "My marriage to Chasten has made me a better man. And yes, Mr. Vice President, it has moved me closer to God. (applause) You may be religious and you may not. But if you are, and you are also queer, and you have come through another side of a period of wishing that you weren’t, then you know that that message, that this idea that there is something wrong with you, is a message that puts you at war not only with yourself but with your Maker. And, speaking only for myself, I can tell you that if me being gay was a choice, it was a choice that was made far far above my pay grade. And that the thing I wish the Mike Pences of the world would understand: that if you have a problem with who I am, your problem is not with me. Your quarrel, sir, is with my Creator."

There is so much wrong with that its hard to know where to begin. But lets start with the obvious, Buttigieg does not have a marriage. What he's got is a big old case of ABOMINATION and he's looking at an eternity in Hell if he doesn't repent and come out of it before his death. He cannot blame God for making him gay, no one is born gay. 

The Word of God is very clear that the only sexual relationship God approves is 1 man + 1 woman= marriage. That's it.

Reese then tweets about Holy Communion for divorced and "remarried" couples...giving full credit to Pope Humbleness himself, Francis. God save us from this pope!

Reese then shares an article about the pornographic vulgar show "Game of Thornes". 

Totally ignoring Catholic teaching on the subject of sex and violence on television and other media outlets.

For the Church, the first responsibility is the constant, clear teaching of the faith and, therefore, of objective moral truth, including the truth about sexual morality. In an era of permissiveness and moral confusion, this requires that the Church be a prophetic voice and, often, a sign of contradiction. The so-called "ethic" of immediate personal gratification is fundamentally opposed to integral human growth and fulfillment. Education for family life and indeed for responsible life in society requires formation in chastity and self-discipline. By contrast, pornography and wanton violence can blind individuals to the divine image in the human person, can weaken marriage and family life and can do serious harm to individuals and to society itself. From there Reese pushes a growing trend of people finding their faith in a new "religion" based on the witchcraft books "Harry Potter" and made popular by a podcast that reads the books and looks for spirituality in the fantasy fiction novels.

But, she added, “Harry Potter” is uniquely well suited because of its ubiquity — the book series has launched spinoffs, films, a Broadway play, a theme park, even an entire genre of music called “wizard rock” — and its overarching message of love."

Then Reese took a shot at Raymond Arroyo and EWTN tweeting this... 

Article quote: "EWTN's iconic host, Raymond Arroyo, no longer even makes any attempt to appear balanced when discussing the church. If his guest is an ally, he displays no inquisitiveness in his interviews. This is not a news program anymore but simply a propaganda arm of the anti-Francis, pro-Trump Catholic brigade. Last week's show was especially bad. 

First up was a segment with the "papal posse" — conservative writer Robert Royal and Fr. Gerald Murray — about the Washington appointment of Archbishop Wilton Gregory. Royal said that this appointment amounts to "Cardinal Wuerl by other means" and said he did not see this shift as a changing of the page. Arroyo said a Washington Catholic said the appointment amounted to "business as usual." Murray said Gregory needed to find out what happened in the McCarrick case, although there is nothing in the Washington archives that would explain how McCarrick came to be appointed to Washington. 

Later in the segment, Arroyo brought up Pope Francis' comments on the death penalty during a press conference on the plane back from Morocco. Murray said: "This is an extremely serious problem, Raymond, the pope does not have the power to change the teaching of the church … that the death penalty is moral in some cases." He said that if Hitler has been executed it would have been a good thing. Note to Murray: When you invoke Nazi analogies, you have almost always lost your argument. Arroyo suggested the death penalty allows people to get their soul in order before death.

Then the posse moved on to criticize the pope because of his defense of migrants, and Royal noted that in Europe, the people are not in agreement with the pope, a criterion never introduced during the pontificate of John Paul II on, say, the issue of contraception. He echoed the kind of nationalistic impulses that we hear from right-wing politicians here in the U.S. and in Europe."[clipped for length]

Personally, I thought this show was great and spot on. I love the "Papal Posse" and look forward to when they are on "The World Over"(EWTN).

This last tweet has a gay flag as the centerpiece for a Vatican conference about war and violence and the hope that Francis will write an encyclical on non-violence and social change (I am guessing the flag is the key here- its all about the gays).  

Article quote: VATICAN CITY — Theologians, activists and bishops who took part in a Vatican conference earlier this month on the power of nonviolence to bring about social change are expressing hope that a future papal encyclical or teaching document will reexamine the Catholic Church's teachings on war. Participants in the April 4-5 meeting, co-hosted by Pax Christi International and the Vatican's Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, said the reflections shared by the about 80 attendees provided ample material for Pope Francis to consider for a possible encyclical."

"The April event was the second of its kind, following a 2016 meeting at the Vatican that reevaluated the church's long-held teachings on just war theory, a tradition that uses a series of criteria to evaluate whether use of violence can be considered morally justifiable."

Another scandal from the Holy Father

Open adulterers no longer need to repent of their mortal sin in order to receive Holy Communion in Christ's Holy Catholic Church, says Pope Francis (Amoris Laetitia).

In a way, that was even more significant. A Catholic couple, divorced and remarried, are sinners, but – at least in principle – still Catholic. The good folks at EWTN are just as dumbfounded as the rest of us at this latest scandal from our current 'merciful' pope. 

Clearly they are stunned, unhappy and (I think) holding back the desire to scream their outrage at this latest horror from our current pope. 

EWTN's Raymond Arroyo on his show "The World Over" first stepped up to the plate about this pope, just months ago...

I'd ask  "what's next?" but we already know what is coming, Christ's Holy Catholic Church is about to celebrate excommunicated heretic Martin Luther with Pope Francis presiding over the entire event. God help us!

This pope continues to scandalize the faithful. Some in the Catholic media warn that for Catholics to point these scandals out we are putting fear into the faithful and causing people to leave the Church. Yet I believe, the pope is sending a great many people out the doors of the Church, not Catholic bloggers, newspapers or media outlets.  This falls squarely on the pope. 

On September 14, 2016 over at "Torch of the Faith" Catholic website I found an excellent article called "A Timely Reminder", I want to share a quote from that article for Catholics like me who are scandalized with our current pope and all that is going on with our Church today...

"Today's feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross provides a timely reminder that the ultimate victory will be that of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
No matter how bad things get for the Church and Her members, we can rely on that great certainty.
During the last couple of days, I have read comments at other sites about people who were getting shaky in their Faith because of all that is happening to the Church: I read of one woman who had decided that Pope Francis had so contradicted previous Magisterial teaching that she had given up on the whole thing; I read of a man who had stopped going to Confession and was now beginning to have doubts about the whole notion of organized religion; and I read of others who thought their efforts to be faithful to Christ had all been in vain.
I feel for people in this situation. I really do. We can make no bones about the fact that these are extremely grim times for Catholics everywhere.
However, it is essential to bear in mind that Christ has promised that He shall remain with His Church until the end of time; and that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against Her (Matthew 16:18).
As we generally remind ourselves and our readers each New Year's Day: ''Jesus Christ is the Lord of the cosmos and of history. In Him, human history and indeed all Creation are 'set forth' and transcendently fulfilled'' (Catechism of the Catholic Church: CCC 668).
We also do well to have a solid grasp of real Catholic doctrine. For example, the Church teaches that popes are Infallible under certain clear conditions. The Church has never taught that popes are impeccable.
Awareness of Spiritual Warfare
Because of our fallen nature, it is a classical trick of Satan to try and get us to rebel against God, in the manner of our First Parents Adam and Eve, when things either go wrong, or appear to be going wrong for us.
Also, Satan being the ultimate deceiver can confuse us into thinking that things are much worse than they truly are.
Thoughts and feelings of despair come from the infernal enemy of our souls. Inspirations of faith, hope and charity come to us from God's grace; mediated to us by Our Lady, the Saints and our Guardian Angels.
Unfortunately, the person who chooses to despair and give up the Faith has at some deep level made a decision that they know better than God and the Church. This is a classical example of pride. It is important to grasp the fact that this final collapse has normally been achieved through defeats and compromises with incremental attacks from Satan and his minions.
For the person that has practiced the Faith, the destruction wrought by Satan once they leave the protection of the Church would perhaps be swift.
This is why it is essential to remain focused on Christ and His promises to the Church. There is no way that any of us, or even all of us together, could defeat Satan without Christ and His Church. We are fallen creatures with a tendency to sin and intellects far below that of Satan. Without Christ we can do nothing; with Him we can do all things (Philippians 4:13). 

A Personal Experience

I have shared before that I was tempted to leave the Church back in 2009, when Modernists seemed to be stitching up the last vestiges of orthodox hopes here in England. I remember thinking that we had been through so much at the hands of dissenters, and that things had become so corrupt, that I was just getting out of the Church. At that point, I saw a mental picture of myself standing at the edge of a ship, about to step off into a black and storm-tossed sea. Thanks be to God, this helped me to come to my senses and remain lashed to the Barque of Peter by the Sacraments, Sacred Scripture and Tradition, prayer and reading key spiritual writers. God's grace enabled me to see that I would have been rapidly destroyed if I had tried to fight corruption by leaving the only supernatural means available to do this in this world. That is because I, like everyone else in this world, am also corrupted by my own sins and sinful tendencies." [clipped]

What a beautiful way to express what so many Catholics are facing right now! 

We must NOT abandon Christ's Holy Catholic Church, but rather cling to Her in this time of so much corruption coming from inside the Church. 

Satan wants us to "abandon ship" and leave the Ark of our Salvation that Christ gave us on earth. He is cunning, sly, deceitful and wicked. We must not fall for his traps- even if they come in the form of a merciful pope spouting things never taught before by the Church. 

Stay with the only Church Jesus Christ created on earth, focus on the things of God officially taught by our Holy Church for centuries, not the current ramblings of any wayward clergy. 

They speak with forked tongues.

As is my custom, I watched today's episode of Church Militant's 'The Vortex' and found myself talking back to Michael on my computer screen (I do that with the television too) and really getting sort of ticked off with him. 

He was dashing my hopes and dreams of a pope who has any influence at all in righting this ship. What *I* got out of today's Vortex (and I do hope others found something more encouraging) is "it ain't in the pope's power to fix the Church so don't bother hoping in this pope-or any pope in the future because the power is all with the Bishops. The pope has zero authority, influence or ability to fix the problems in our Church." 

How freaking depressing! I gotta say, I felt the hope get sucked right out of me listening to today's Vortex. I'm sure that isn't what Mr. Voris intended but there it is. 

The Vortex began with Mr. Voris once more scolding Catholic bloggers (and EWTN) who say anything negative about the pope's statements that too often cause chaos and confusion among the laity. 

quote: "The problem any pope faces, has faced or will face for the foreseeable future is that no matter what he does or doesn't do, the spirit of disobedience and rebellion rampant in the ecclesiastical ranks isn't going anywhere. The danger of always pointing to Rome, always saying the Pope is a heretic, the Pope is confusing, the Pope is this, the Pope is that, is that the Pope isn't the problem — just an easy target.
When outfits like EWTN start talking about confusing things the Pope is saying, the question needs to be asked: Where have you been all these years when hundreds of bishops have let the Church deteriorate and rot on the vine? Is that just a case of chest pounding to act all tough now because they have tested the winds and realize that their audience doesn't like some of what the Pope says?" 

Seemingly, Mr. Voris wants to put all the blame on the Bishops and tell us that no matter how much a pope tries, he simply can not control these bad Bishops and the Church will forever be corrupted because no pope can get the Bishops under control. 

Horsehockey!  

I simply REFUSE to believe that.  And I am NOT placing the blame alone on our current pope. Any pope who won't TRY or attempt to stand up against evil or corruption in the Church SHOULD be called out and put on the spot. The Pope is our shepherd, we are the flock.  

Right now the flock are walking around with little to no direction because THIS pope is rambling on about climate change and turning off air conditioning, while Bishops fight for immigration reform with nations, priests attend gay pride parades selling "who am I to judge" t-shirts and nuns work for birth control and abortion. What the hell is that all about?  

Don't tell me the pope has NO authority to do anything!  Sorry Michael, I do not buy that. I won't believe that. To allow myself to believe that would be to fall into despair and hopelessness.  

The fact is we need a STRICT BY THE BOOK pope who ENFORCES the Faith. If a Cardinal/Bishop shows any sort of wavering in the faith or rebellion he is removed from his position for a time(give 'em a chance to repent), and sent to uncomfortable accommodations (somewhere hot with no AC -that the pope is so concerned about- no more plush accommodations) and given ONE shot to make it right, if he refuses he is EXCOMMUNICATED PUBLICLY for the scandal he may have caused.  Do that to a few dozen Bishops and see what happens! 

There is NO reason for THIS pope to continually remove good authentic Cardinals/Bishops from prominent positions in the Church and replace them with Cardinals/Bishops who hold heretical progressive beliefs (and Michael knows who they are he talks about them all the time on his shows) other than those are the types of men the current pope wants in leadership positions. 

Michael paints a picture of popes waving the white flag to corrupt Bishops and saying "Oh well, they win, I lose, game over!" What sort of mentality is that for a Catholic to hold?

Voris goes on to say: 

quote:  "What if the Pope came out tomorrow and said no more Holy Communion in the hand, no more altar girls, no more heretics speaking at the L.A. Archdiocese Religious Education Conference, no more cardinals leading parades with gays, no more horrible catechesis being taught in schools (provided he would even know any of this) — what if he came out and did all this? Do you really think your local bishop in your local diocese, or the national conferences of Catholic bishops in all sorts of countries, would give it the slightest attention?"

Yes! What if?  

Imagine that!  A pope being pope!

What if only a quarter of the worlds Cardinals/Bishops did as the Pope said? Would that not be an improvement?  A turn in the right direction? Why can't the pope-any pope(current or future) say these things? 

And let's dream bigger! What if HALF the Bishops in the world insisted on Holy Communion on the tongue, no more altar girls, no more heretics speaking at any institute with the name "Catholic" in it? What if? 

Is it too much to dream of half the Bishops in the world listening to the pope if he said those things?  Let's take it back to the early Church.

If it's too hard to think that we can't find half, then how about a dozen faithful Cardinals and Bishops in the Church who would listen to the pope and do as he says? Would not even the number of the Apostles have an effect on the Church?  But of course it would! Look what the Apostles were able to do! 

I truly don't understand Mr. Voris today. What he seemed to be saying is we can't even have the hope of "what if" because all hope is lost if you place it in a pope to fix things, because no one will listen to the pope. That is the message I received from watching The Vortex today and I am pretty sure that wasn't the message Mr. Voris was trying to send. 

Any pope doing the Will of God can do anything...even if he only has Twelve faithful men listening to him. I truly believe that and I hold hope in that.

Voris has declined to say anything publicly about this pope, but I know he and his staff aren't blind to the shuffling of authentic Cardinals and Bishops with liberal progressive Cardinals and Bishops so that the heretical Cardinals/Bishops are in positions of power. They've reported these changes at Church Militant. And they know it happened and is happening under the authority of this pope. 

Pope Francis (and all popes) has the authority to place Cardinals and Bishops where ever he wants and he decides what sort of Cardinals and Bishops he wants in what places.  

He has the authority to decide the focus of his papacy...saving souls...saving the planet...converting sinners or leaving them where they are.

The pope is responsible for the direction the Church is taking right now, under this papacy based on his decisions.  The direction we have seen thus far is progressive- that is why the world adores him so much.  The overwhelming message the world has heard from Pope Francis is mainly global warming and 'who am I to judge'.

He has chosen a more progressive and liberal leaning Church, and to accomplish that he has demoted more orthodox conservative Cardinals/Bishops and replaced them with progressives. 

That is how this pope has chosen to lead the Church and laity along with the Bishops, who are following his lead as they work diligently to fight global warming and reform immigration laws around the world. They are following our popes lead, so clearly the Bishops ARE listening to Pope Francis.

The problem is not that Pope Francis is our pope. The problem is we have a pope who is leading us in a war against global warming and immigration reform while telling the world he does not wish to convert people to the Catholic faith. 

The Bishops are hearing that message loud and clear and like good little soldiers following the lead set before them by Pope Francis. 

We can't ignore the facts.

Michael asks, 'what if'? 

Yes, Michael, what if  the message were different? How many would follow? Half?  A quarter? Only a dozen faithful men? 

Oh what God can do with Twelve!

EWTN takes on the Pope Francis problem

Kudos to EWTN!  It is refreshing to see EWTN addressing the scandalous statements made by Pope Francis that have caused so much confusion among the laity. Hearing this report from EWTN, a most trusted source for Catholics around the world is soothing. It means we aren't going crazy, the pope said some things that truly are bothersome and must be addressed honestly by Catholic media. I think Mother Angelica would be proud.

EWTN's National Catholic Register recently published an article by Msgr. Charles Pope on the confusing, hurtful and chaotic things Pope Francis has said, if you haven't read it yet, please do.  It's an excellent article. I am going to quote a few parts here that stood out to me.

quote(in part): I write these remarks simply as a parish priest. I am not a canonist and certainly not a reporter. I react simply as a priest to what has been reported all week, and write here the reaction of one man and priest—me.
First, it is reported that the Pope said pastors should not be “putting our noses into the moral life of other people.”
Permit me to state my utter bewilderment at such a notion. As a priest, and especially as a confessor and spiritual director this is my duty! It is true that I am not to unnecessarily pry into the private lives of parishioners. But surely there is a requirement that as a confessor and a pastor I have some sense of the moral life of those to whom I minister.

And...

quote(in part): But it is beyond lamentable that the Pope, as initially reported, should have called priests (or any human being for that matter) “animals.” Such a word should never have come out of his mouth, and I would hope for an apology for this offensive characterization, not merely a Vatican “clarification.” I certainly have some differences with brother priests, I would call my differences with dissenting priests significant. But this does not permit me to call them animals, and the Pope, who seems to have done so, has no business doing it either. Admittedly the recorded comments are hard to follow, but the cleansed Vatican transcript is more in the mode of “Let’s pretend this was never said as recorded” rather than a clear denial—“The Pope wants to say he not consider priest animals, even though he thinks some are too hard-lined on this matter.”
It will be admitted that Pope Gregory (in his Pastoral Rule) once said that silent priests who failed to rebuke sinners were like “dumb dogs that cannot bark.” But he was using a metaphor, and quoting Scripture. He did not univocally call them dogs, he said they were “like” or in the mode of dumb dogs that cannot warn of danger. But there is nothing in this recent Pope’s comments that suggests metaphor or simile. He just outright called priests whose prudential judgments he doubts “animals”. “They’re animals” he said.
I pray that never again will we hear reported such a rude and unnecessary remark from this pope or any pope. No human person should be called an animal by a pope or any anyone, for that matter. Metaphors and similes have their place in human discourse, but to univocally call a fellow human being and animal is out of line.

Just this priest’s perspective. But I can assure you, dear reader, that the impact hits priests hard, and I cannot deny a certain weariness and discouragement at this point. I realize that such remarks of the Pope are not doctrinal, but just try and tell that to gleeful dissenters and the morally confused or misled in this world.

It didn't stop there, EWTN's Raymond Arroyo gathered together his "papal posse" to address the problems with what Pope Francis has been saying.

I think Raymond's interview taking on these scandalous statements by Pope Francis was excellent. No head in the sand, pretending to be ostriches and no excuses. What the Pope has said is WRONG. Period. 

There was a particular story Raymond tells about a friend who heard the Pope's words on shacking up in fornication and wanted a Catholic priest to "bless" his fornication because that is what he heard the Pope say. This confusion has spread around the world and the Vatican hasn't cleaned it up-yet (I believe they will).

It is extremely bothersome to me (and I am guessing many others) that every time Francis speaks his mind, the Vatican has to jump up and say "Wait a minute! The Pope didn't mean that, he meant...".  I thank God that the Church is always there to correct the Pope, but I think its horrendous that this has to happen every time Francis speaks his mind. We are seeing what Pope Francis truly believes- and it doesn't match authentic Catholic teaching.  This is a problem. 

Great work EWTN for facing this problem and not pretending it doesn't exist.

I have started this blog article several times- my first attempts were surely sinful and would have landed me right back in the Confessional that I just left, so I am trying again.  

This weeks episode of EWTN's The World Over with Raymond Arroyo featured Cardinal Wuerl speaking of the Synod.  This was truly VERY difficult for me to watch.  I am not kidding when I say listening to this (in my opinion) deceitful evil man (yeah, I'm gonna call him that) conjured images of a forked tongue flicking out of his mouth as he spoke.  I was furious listening to him spread confusion and deceit and his outrageous refusal to give an answer to anything Raymond asked. *more on that later

Wuerl played word games and took Arroyo for a whirl around the dance floor several times.  Raymond gave a few feeble attempts to get a straight clear answer out of this serpent, but all he got was Wuerl using words like "crystal clear" when in fact all he said was clear as mud. Then Wuerl tap danced some more in an attempt to distract Arroyo from his questions. I don't know if it worked, or Raymond got tired of dancing.  I am guessing Arroyo knew this Cardinal had no intention of speaking the truth or answering anything honestly so he [Arroyo] gave up.

If you can stomach it, give it a watch: 

I am speaking here as a convert to the Catholic Faith.  I was a protestant for most of my life, living in all sorts of sin because people with the Truth didn't bother to tell me the Truth.  They kept it to themselves.  

Most of them would have happily or ignorantly allowed me to die in my sins while they enjoyed the Sacraments Christ gave to them through His Holy Catholic Church.  

They went to Confession and heard the words of absolution from their priests.  I was told by my Baptist preacher that I didn't have to confess my sins because Jesus already died for all sin and I had "accepted Jesus into my heart" so I was on my way to Heaven!  Praise the Lord!  

Had I died I would not have been on my way to Heaven.  I would have gone the other direction. 

To hear Cardinal Wuerl speak about walking with people IN THEIR SIN, and not telling them what sin is because it's not the "message" of Christ made me furious.  

Of course it's the message of Christ to REPENT and sin no more!  How can anyone repent if the Church refuses to tell people what sin is or that if they die in that sin they are going to Hell?  

He speaks of the persons "own conscience" leading them.  Well I can tell you my conscience was NOT well formed because I was not well informed on the Truth.  I couldn't make a well informed decision on Faith because I was ignorant of it!

Wuerl goes on and on (like Francis) about "mercy".  Well, I can tell you that I wasn't shown mercy by any Catholic who refused to share their Faith with me. To the Catholics out there (and you know who you are) who took the time to tell me I was wrong and my denomination was man-made and full of errors THOSE Catholics were loving and merciful.  They didn't want me to live my entire life in deception.  They wanted to share their Church with me.  They wanted me to have what they had. I will spend the rest of my life praying for those Catholics and thanking God for them because they didn't just lead me to the Truth, the Sacraments and the Holy Catholic Church, they brought my children too.  

If not for those Catholics, willing to fight with me, argue with me and not let me go on in error...my children may not have been baptized.  To Baptists, baptism is done to teens and adults as "an outward sign of an inner change".  They don't believe anything happens- you're just making a public show of your declaration that Jesus lives in your heart- you've said the sinner's prayer or answered an altar call (funny since Baptists don't have altars). 

I am writing this for all the Catholics out there to tell you PLEASE DON'T KEEP YOUR FAITH TO YOURSELF! There are too many people out there like I was, who thirsted for the Truth but couldn't find it on my own. You will never know how your speaking up can change a persons life- for eternity.  

Non-Catholics have no idea of the depth of the Truth found in the Catholic Church. They truly have a very small concept of sin because of the limitless errors inside Protestantism. These errors have leaked into the beliefs of many Catholics too- think of all the Catholics who believe birth control, abortion and gay marriage aren't sinful. People are ignorant of the Truth and they are living in sin because of it.

Please don't leave them there.  

Their eternity and the eternity of their children and grandchildren may depend on you speaking up. 

These hate-filled evil men in the Church who wish to walk with sinners in their sin rather than tell them 'repent and sin no more' as our Lord Jesus Christ did are leaving people IN their sin.  If these people die in their sins not only will they jeopardize their own salvation but also the salvation of their families. Having a priest "walk with them" or beside them in their sin won't change their damnation. They must be told to repent and sin no more.  That is loving them, that is true mercy.

And since so many clergy now will not tell people that, you must. Don't be silent.  If you don't know what to say to share your faith, LEARN IT and tell people where to find information on the Internet or if they like to read suggest a book.  Books were a HUGE part of my conversion and they were sent to me by the box loads by a Catholic who spent years arguing with me over the errors I had once clung to. She wouldn't give up on me no matter how much I fought back (and it was years).  She could have walked away and washed her hands of me, but she didn't.  She is now my very best friend in the world and I thank God for her everyday.  She helped change my life and the lives of my children.  

When I think of her and then listen to the Wuerls in our Church speak about love and mercy and meeting people where they are...she met me were I was, but she refused to leave me there or to accompany me in my sin.  

The Wuerls in the Church are leaving people in their sin, to die and risk damnation for all eternity and they call it "mercy" and the "message" of the Gospel. They are speaking with forked tongues. Don't be deceived by these serpents, they are doing their father's will, not the Divine Will of God. 

"Repent and sin no more" is the message Christ gave over and over in the Gospel.  Listen to Him, not the serpents wearing vestments.
